The handmade Custom pickups of the EVH Wolfgang guitars are now available for everyone.
Designed by Eddie Van Halen himself, these pickups are full range and high output that deliver every nuance you would expect from EVH's exacting specifications. The pickups are handmade in Corona, California by Fender's legendary custom shop. Available in bridge and neck formats with 4 conductor wiring and black/white finish exactly as featured in the Wolfgang and Wolfgang Special guitars.
It took over 80 prototypes in the development process before Eddie approved these humbucking pickups for the EVH Wolfgang guitar. They are balanced and able to deliver balls-out overdrive and sustain without sacrificing the ability to clean up magnificently and articulate the cleanest passages when the volume is rolled down.
The EVH Wolfgang Bridge Pickup gives you classic Eddie Van Halen guitar tone, instantly. Superhuman chops aside, Eddie forged his unmistakable sound through incessant tinkering with guitar parts and pickups. To achieve his signature tone, Eddie paid particular attention to different pickup windings. EVH now gives you a direct replacement for all standard humbucking pickups, the Wolfgang Bridge humbucker, that lets you nail Eddie's classic lead tone: stinging, singing highs, snarling mids, fat brown sound and all. Equip your axe with legendary Eddie Van Halen tone, with the EVH Wolfgang Bridge Pickup.
