The Ibanez FGM300 is a Frank Gambale Model series guitar model and signature model of Australian jazz fusion guitarist Frank Gambale. It was introduced in 1994 as a replacement for the FGM100.
Like the FGM100, the FGM300 is based on the Ibanez S series and has flush set pickups and a deep-set neck and tremolo for an extra low string set-up. New features include a new set of pickups and the Green Metallic finish. Both GM (Green Metallic) and MG (Metallic Green) are used in the catalogs, but are supposedly the same.
The FGM300 was discontinued after 1996 .
